How to Unlock Weapons and Recover Your Gear
Your next weapon unlock starts with the kill requirements at Daniel's Weapon Shop or Miguel's Special Weapons Shop. This The Backrooms With Guns weapons guide covers those milestones, paid guns, and special pickups so you can plan your next unlock. Before spending Robux, pay attention to your mode: all four purchasable weapon passes below exclude PvP.
If your old weapons disappeared after Update 1.2, visit the weapon shops and re-equip them for free. The update introduced a new saving system, but your kills were saved and your previous weapon progress remains intact.
Update 1.2.0 also adds wraps, attachments, and new bosses. Choose your mode before experimenting with your arsenal:
- Classic: PvE with infinite health and ammo.
- Survival: PvE with limited health and ammo.
- PVP: Combat against other players.
Use Classic's unlimited resources to try your unlocked weapons before taking them into Survival.
Daniel's Weapon Shop: Kill Requirements
Daniel's inventory runs from a healing item at 10 kills to the AA-12 at 2,500 kills. The table includes melee weapons and throwables alongside guns so you can see every milestone in order.

Magazine figures show rounds per magazine. A dash marks items without a magazine entry.

The M1911 is the default PvP weapon, separate from its 25-kill shop requirement. The Grenade has a listed PvP quantity of one.
Unlocks That Deserve Attention
Bloxy Cola provides healing in PvP faster than natural health regeneration. Pick it up at the 10-kill milestone to give yourself another way to recover between fights.
The Thompson offers a 100-round magazine at 800 kills. Compare that capacity with the M4A1 and AK-47, which each carry 30 rounds, when deciding which unlocked primary to equip.
The M82A1 is a standout non-gamepass sniper option at 1,000 kills, with a 10-round magazine and rapid follow-up shots through repeated clicks.
The AA-12 carries 32 rounds and supports sustained fire. In Survival, fire individual shots to conserve ammunition; hold the trigger for hordes.
Miguel's Special Weapons Shop: High-Kill Unlocks
Miguel's weapons begin at 5,000 kills, beyond Daniel's final listed unlock. His inventory includes two primaries and two secondaries, with the Golden Eagle requiring the longest grind.

| Weapon | Required kills | Category | Magazine |
|---|---|---|---|
| M16A2 | 5,000 | Primary | 30 |
| G18 | 10,000 | Secondary | 50 |
| MG42 | 100,000 | Primary | 100 |
| Golden Eagle | 1,000,000 | Secondary | 30 |
The M16A2 combines rifle fire with a grenade-launching capability, using 5.56x45mm and 40x46mm M381 ammunition. Its two weapon functions give you options against individual enemies and groups.
The G18 brings a 50-round magazine to the secondary slot. The MG42 carries 100 rounds, while the Golden Eagle increases the standard Desert Eagle's seven-round capacity to 30 and deals more damage.
Weapon Game Passes: Robux Prices and PvP Restrictions
The paid weapon lineup includes the Railgun, Flamethrower, M134, and M32. None of these four weapons is available in PvP.
| Weapon pass | Price | PvP availability |
|---|---|---|
| Railgun | 44 Robux | Unavailable |
| Flamethrower | 79 Robux | Unavailable |
| Minigun (M134) | 99 Robux | Unavailable |
| Grenade Launcher (M32) | 149 Robux | Unavailable |
The Minigun appears in-game as M134. Repeated minigun spam can cause lag and delayed hits, so ease off if shots begin registering late.
Open The Backrooms With Guns on Roblox to access the experience and its passes.
Two other passes affect how you reach shops and previously explored areas:
- Access Shops Anywhere — 199 Robux: Adds a button at the top of the screen that opens shops wherever you are on the map.
- Teleport to Hub — 299 Robux: Adds a top-screen button for reaching The Hub and accessing levels you have already visited. You can enter The Hub without buying this pass.
The Custom Weapon pass is not for sale.
Group-Exclusive Guns
The group-exclusive lineup includes two primaries, a secondary, and an RPG. The .700 Nitro has just two rounds per magazine, while Frostbite carries 30.
| Weapon | Category | Magazine |
|---|---|---|
| Frostbite | Primary | 30 |
| Gray Splinter | Secondary | 21 |
| .700 Nitro | Primary | 2 |
| RPG | Rocket Launcher | — |
Frostbite uses a suppressed AR15-style design. Gray Splinter is a suppressed P320-style handgun with black camouflage.
The .700 Nitro is a rifle, despite its double-barrel appearance. It uses .700 Nitro Express ammunition.
The RPG can hit multiple entities with one attack and has a fast reload. Aim at clustered entities to take advantage of its area damage.
Special Pickups: Snowball, Party Popper, and Firework Launcher
These items have pickup locations rather than the kill requirements used by Daniel and Miguel.
Snowball
Find the patch of snow in the lobby to obtain a Snowball. It occupies the Special category.
Party Popper
Enter Daniel's Weapons Shop and pick up the Party Popper from the white table beside Daniel. This is another Special item.
Firework Launcher
The Firework Launcher is tucked inside a room reached through a window:
- Find the big room containing stacked boxes.
- Climb the smaller stack of boxes.
- Shoot the window and jump through it.
- Pick up the Firework Launcher in the corner of the room.
