Where Is Miguel in The Backrooms With Guns?

Looking for The Backrooms With Guns Miguel? His special weapons shop is downstairs in the Stormy Office, behind a door among the offices. He sells weapons with kill requirements ranging from 5,000 to 1,000,000, so finding him gives you somewhere to put those milestones to use.

Once you reach the Stormy Office, follow this route:

  1. From the upstairs section, find the staircase leading downstairs.
  2. Head into the downstairs office area.
  3. Look for Miguel’s shop behind one of the office doors.
  4. Use the staircase to return upstairs afterward.

The upstairs section is safe from entities and environmental hazards. The downstairs section contains Miguel’s shop, while the damaged section is where the level’s hostile entities appear.

Watch for broken windows, rushing wind, and nonfunctioning lights: those mark the damaged area. Smiler and Insanity inhabit that section. Keep your shop search focused on the downstairs offices instead of heading deeper into the dark.

The upstairs elevator leads to The End, while a door farther into the damaged section leads to The Poolrooms. The downstairs offices have only the staircase back upstairs as their exit, so return that way when you finish shopping.

Only two Smilers and two Insanity entities can spawn at a time in the damaged section. Both types can be dispatched quickly with fast-firing or heavy-hitting weapons. Watch your ammunition between waves if you explore beyond the safe offices.

Miguel and the Suspicious Man have different roles. Miguel handles special weapons downstairs; the Suspicious Man is upstairs and starts the escape questline involving a Bloxy Cola.

Miguel’s Special Weapons and Kill Requirements

Miguel’s inventory stretches from the M16A2 at 5,000 kills to the Golden Eagle at 1,000,000 kills. Check the requirement for the specific weapon you want before making the trip.

The Backrooms With Guns — Miguel’s Special Weapons and Kill Requirements

WeaponKill requirementWeapon categoryMagazine capacity
M16A25,000Primary30 rounds
G1810,000Secondary50 rounds
MG42100,000Primary100 rounds
Golden Eagle1,000,000Secondary30 rounds

The M16A2 handles both individual enemies and groups. It uses 5.56x45mm ammunition alongside 40x46mm M381 rounds, giving it a different setup from the standard rifles in Daniel’s shop.

The G18 brings a 50-round magazine to the secondary category. The MG42 is a primary weapon with a 100-round magazine, while the Golden Eagle is a secondary with a 30-round magazine.

Their ammunition also differs: the G18 uses 9x19mm, the MG42 uses 7.92x57mm, and the Golden Eagle uses Golden .50AE. The Golden Eagle deals more damage and holds more rounds than the Desert Eagle, which has a seven-round magazine and unlocks at Daniel’s shop for 350 kills.

Daniel also offers the M82A1 at 1,000 kills, the KRISS Vector at 1,200 kills, and the P90 at 1,500 kills. Those weapons hold 10, 40, and 50 rounds, respectively.

Keep the two weapon vendors straight when checking your next unlock. Daniel’s inventory includes the AA-12 at 2,500 kills; Miguel’s special inventory begins with the M16A2 at 5,000 kills. Head to Miguel for the four weapons above.

Missing Weapons After Update 1.2?

If you last played before Update 1.2 and your weapons appear to be missing, visit the weapon shops before assuming you need to unlock everything again.

The Backrooms With Guns — Missing Weapons After Update 1.2?

Update 1.2 introduced a new saving system:

  • Your kills remain saved.
  • Previously owned weapons can be re-equipped for free at the weapon shops.
  • Weapons from before the update may initially be absent from your inventory.

For Miguel’s weapons, return to his downstairs shop and re-equip the ones you previously owned. The update’s weapon reset does not mean your saved kill progress has disappeared.

Version 1.2.0 also adds wraps, attachments, new bosses, and improved graphics. If the graphics cause performance problems on your device, lower the graphics setting and enable performance mode.

When trying your recovered weapons, remember that Classic provides infinite health and ammunition. Survival limits both, while PVP puts you against other players.
