Start the Escape Quest With Bloxy Cola

The Backrooms With Guns ending takes more than finding an exit: you need to reach Reality, collect three keys, and complete the core sequence to escape above ground. The dangerous moment comes at 35%, when a monster charges toward the core and you need tape to repair a hole. Keep tape ready before starting that sequence, because the monster’s body can kill you even after it stops moving.

Your route begins with an NPC who trades escape information for Bloxy Cola:

1. Talk to the escape NPC. He asks you to bring him a Bloxy Cola.
2. Reach 10 kills. You need this to obtain the drink.
3. Visit the weapon store. Speak with Daniel and purchase the Bloxy Cola.
4. Return to the NPC. Hand over the drink to get directions toward the room marked “freedom.”

Giving the drink to the NPC earns One Step Closer.

Before leaving the weapon shops, keep these preparation details in mind:

• Update 1.2 changed weapon saving. Returning players retain their kills and can re-equip their previous weapons for free at weapon shops.
• Classic provides infinite health and ammo. Survival has limited health and ammo.

Find the Freedom Room Key and Enter Reality

The NPC’s directions lead you toward a sign that says “freedom.” Get your gun ready before entering the room; more entities are waiting inside.

1. Locate the freedom sign and enter its room.
2. Find the key. Hold the interaction button to collect it, then leave.
3. Find the nearby large room with a window.
4. Shoot the glass and climb through the opening.
5. Hold the interaction button inside to trigger the teleport.

This takes you into Reality, where the next part of the escape involves office keys and the keystone stabilizer.

Keep the two key searches separate: the key near the freedom sign gets you through this stage, while the three office keys belong to the experiment ahead.

Collect All Three Keys in Reality

Search the offices before heading to the controls. The keys are split between the ground floor and the second floor.

1. Search the nearby ground-floor office. Pick up the first key.
2. Go to the second floor. Find the second key in an office.
3. Search a different office room upstairs. Collect the third key.
4. Return to the ground floor once you have all three.

Finish checking both upstairs office rooms before going back down. Two of the three keys are on that floor, so finding one upstairs does not complete the search.

Power the Core and Repair the Hole at 35%

With all three keys collected, you can start the experiment.

1. From the ground floor, go forward and head up toward the controls.
2. Turn on the power.
3. Insert all three keys into the keyholes.
4. Press the red button to begin charging.
5. Watch for 35%. A monster charges toward the core during this part of the sequence.
6. Go down and use tape to repair the hole.
7. Avoid the dead monster. Touching its body kills you.
8. Let the charge reach 100%. Wait a little longer for the teleport.

Have tape ready before pressing the red button. Once the charging sequence is underway, focus on the repair and leave space around the fallen monster when approaching the hole.

Reaching 100% does not teleport you immediately. Stay clear of the body while waiting for the transition.

Walk Outside and Recognize the Ending Badges

After the final teleport, walk forward to reach the outside area. The successful escape earns Above Ground. Once outside, you can explore the map or stay there and idle.

Reality marks the earlier milestone of reaching Reality; Above Ground marks the successful experiment and escape to the surface.

There is also a failure branch: Endless is awarded when the experiment fails. In that area, approaching the red letters instead of heading toward the galaxy earns Truth. If your goal is the above-ground escape, complete the tape repair and let the core finish charging.
